It is recommended that you follow these guidelines:
Do not eat an unusually large meal immediately before or after your treatment.
Plan your activities so that after treatment you can get some rest, or at least do not have to perform strenuous work. This precaution is especially important for the first few visits.
Do not exercise or engage in strenuous physical activity 6 hours before or after each treatment.
Do not consume alcoholic beverages or non-prescription drugs before treatments. Substance abuse (alcohol and drugs) will seriously interfere with the effectiveness .
